Griffin Logopark named among projects already under way in Alatau City
The Alatau City Council, chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, reviewed delivery of the Head of State’s instructions. Griffin Logopark was named among the projects where works have already started.

Bektenov noted the strategic importance of Alatau City: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has described the project as strategically significant and capable, in time, of taking the country’s development to a qualitatively new level.
Alisher Abdykadyrov, Chief Executive Officer of Alatau City Authority, reported the results. The investment pipeline has grown to 67 projects — about $6.9 bn and a potential of around 55,000 jobs. PepsiCo and Sunny Paper are in an active phase. Works have started on Mars Petcare KZ, Griffin Logopark, DanaFlex and G-Trans Service. Iconic Complex is in preparation, and KIND K-Smart Town is moving forward.
Territory and new investment
A comprehensive development concept has been prepared for a 330 ha territory with 5.3 million m² of buildings. Completion of the masterplan and feasibility study is scheduled by the end of 2026.
Projects with Full Vision Capital, KAIST, CIMC and Sinomach are being worked up. Separate understandings have been reached with Hyundai Green Food, Lotte Hotels & Resorts, Doosan Enerbility, Korea Airports Corporation and Hyundai Motor Company.
Within Alatau Crypto City, a Tokenization by Default concept has been prepared together with the National Bank of Kazakhstan. Interest has been confirmed by 43 companies. Tokenization projects of up to $10 million are planned to launch by the end of 2026.
Infrastructure
Twenty-six infrastructure projects are planned: reconstruction of the Kokpa-1 substation, water supply and wastewater upgrades, medium repair of 61.2 km of roads and construction of 15 km of new highways.
Further city growth is expected to combine budget funding, PPP mechanisms, and private and quasi-public investment. A business and digital-assets package is planned by year-end, together with a strategic masterplan to 2040 and a detailed plan to 2055 with ARUP Group and BCG.
Following the meeting, the Prime Minister instructed that projects be delivered in practice and that key Alatau City timelines be met.
